These are two of the sweetest girls I’ve ever met. They are curious, creative and love all things girly. Hazel and Daniella are cousins that were rescued by Bob and brought to Mi Casa when they were younger. Their mothers were pregnant by 12 years old most likely from being raped by gang members. Hazel and Daniella were at a government run orphanage that didn’t provide good care for them. They were both covered in open sores and suffering when they were picked up.

Hazel (left) is more of a tomboy and loves being active. She will be found on the swing set or playing games. She’s competitive and easily excitable. Hazel loves animals and shows the most love to the dog and kitten that live here – Gracie and Princess.

Daniella (right) is more quiet and can come off shy. She can be found playing kitchen or dress up. She warms up to you quickly and loves coloring and just sitting holding your hand. Daniella loves frilly dresses and admiring her older sisters clothes.

These girls need help staying in their private school for their safety. It’s common in public schools for girls to be dragged into the bathrooms and raped by other students in gangs. The teachers and administrators typically do not intervene for fear of their own safety. It cost $80 a month for each of their tuition. The price for a safe learning environment, being taught English and being allowed to be little girls at recess on the playground. If you’d like to know more about their stories let me know! I would be so appreciative if you’d consider helping these sweetie pies!
