Meet the team I get to be with for the month! Team Lioness is made of up 6 fiercely courageous and beautiful women. They each are so different in the most unique ways and have so much to offer not only this team but the world we’re traveling!
Ré – musically gifted and talented. Her heart for worship is beautiful and transparent and encouraging to me and everyone around her.
Jasmine – will light up any room she walks into. She wants to hear your story and truly know you.
Rocky – independent and intentional. She has a heart for women that will inspire anyone.
Praise – warm and caring. She asks the questions no one remembers. I’ve shared some of the hardest laughs on the race with her.
Brittany – strong and tender. She has a heart for this world and a desire to reach the broken and lost.
Brooklynn – fights for unity, gives a voice to the voiceless. Serving alongside her on this team has already been a blessing.
This month we’re partnered with a ministry that loves and seeks high school and college age students. It’s essentially Albania’s version of Cru mixed with Young Life. Evenings have been filled with silly games, dance parties, ping pong competitions, get to know you conversations, and much more. We have girls night plans, America and Albania night, a fun afternoon picnic and lots of one on one coffee dates in our future. The kids are so welcoming and excited to get to know us! We are thrilled for the intentionality and community this month is going to provide!
Wow, Albania has already stolen my heart and it’s only been four days. We’re living in a flat with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and nice hot showers! Blessed! It’s nearing spring here so the temps have been in the 60s most days and sunny. A nice change from the 90s in Cambodia. We’re in a beautiful city named Vlore which is right on the coast and lined with breathtaking mountains. I can’t get over the views of this country. It seems to be a perfect balance of rolling countryside, mountains and water. Wow God, you sure created a beauty when you created Albania!
